From 2000 until 2010, Edgetreme Gardens was known as Queen Gil irrigation. In 2017, I decided to start over as a chemical-free garden. My first order was to supply tea bush and spices to my sister’s company, The Breakfast Place. It then expanded to include relatives and friends. During the first lockdown in March 2020, fearing the spread of the Covid-19 illness and the prospect of a food scarcity, I decided to add rabbits, ducks, and chickens to my permanent livestock, in addition to cultivating vegetables.
